Wow! That was so much fun but also took a toll on my unconditioned body! I know I like to think I can stay up late playing Rock Band while drinking a lot, but I'm not really that great at it. But I'm running on pure excitement and anticipation of what will come today when PAX Easter officially starts! Here's a pic from last night's fun!

There are a few games that I know Zeb and I will be working very hard to see this PAX. Last PAX we were treated to early looks at Borderlands 2 and The Secret World. We will do the same at this PAX as well. We are planning on getting some gametime in on Borderlands 2 now that we know that it will be playable at PAX East. Also, FunCom announced today that The Secret World is available for pre-order and will include guarenteed access to the Beta Weekends they are planning in May. Needless to say, I placed my order as soon as I heard. If you haven't had a chance to check out the trailers for these games, do it now. Oh, and brace yourself for some "wub wub" in the Borderlands 2 Trailer... lol
So I edited up a quicky video of Machinehead which is a blast to play on the drums... nice and just fast enough, lots of off-beat snare and fun double kicks. This was by far not my best performance. I'm pretty sure my high hat pad is starting to go and I also need a new kick pedal.

So starting in the next week I will start to live stream my gaming sessions! I have created a Twitch.tv (www.twitch.tv/dadthegamer) account and have aquired the appropriate software so that I can stream out whatever I happen to be playing! If you are interested in dropping in and checking things out, be sure to follow DadTheGamer on Twitter! I'll announce live feeds there as I go live. I also have the right equipment so that I can stream any PC games in addition to Xbox 360, PS3, AND Wii games. I think this will be a nifty little way for you all to drop in and see what I'm doing.
